KASA's programs run on the dedication of volunteers like you. We currently have active Kurdish language classes in North Carolina, Dallas, Austin, and Houston — and we're always looking for local city facilitators and Kurdish language teachers. Teachers are compensated per session.

Choose the role that fits your skills and schedule. All are welcome regardless of background.

Kurdish Language Teacher
Teach Kurdish to children or adults in NC, Dallas, Austin, or Houston. Native speakers and experienced teachers especially welcome. Teachers are compensated per session. Classes held weekly online and in-person.

Family Navigator
Help newly arrived Kurdish families navigate American systems — healthcare, schools, housing, and social services. Bilingual skills a major plus.

City Facilitator
Coordinate KASA's presence in your city — organize local Kurdish language classes, connect community members, and represent KASA on the ground. Active cities: NC, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Harrisonburg VA.

Online Class Coordinator
Help coordinate and support online Kurdish language or English classes — scheduling, student communication, Zoom logistics, and follow-up. Supports both US-based and Rojava programs.

Social Media & Content
Help KASA share its story through photography, video, writing, and social media management. Content creators and journalists especially welcome.

General Volunteer
Help out wherever needed — from setting up events to administrative support and translation help. No specific skills required. Just show up!
Your Time Changes Lives
KASA volunteers have helped deliver humanitarian aid to Rojava families, taught Kurdish to students in 5 US cities, and helped 47 IT students graduate. Teachers are paid per session — your time has real value here.
