KASA’s Kurdish language program offers online instruction in Kurmanji for students at multiple levels — complete beginners who want to start from scratch, intermediate learners who grew up hearing Kurdish but never developed formal reading and writing skills, and more advanced students working to improve fluency and vocabulary. All classes are conducted online, which means students can participate from anywhere in the United States without needing to travel.

Classes are led by qualified Kurdish-speaking instructors who bring both linguistic knowledge and teaching experience to the program. We use a communicative approach — prioritizing actual language use and conversation over rote memorization of grammar rules — while still providing the structured instruction that adult learners need to make consistent progress. Each level has clearly defined goals, and students move between levels based on demonstrated ability.
