The coming year at KASA is organized around three honest admissions. First: our language program is working, but it is not yet reaching everyone who wants it. We need more instructors, more class sections, and better outreach to Kurdish Americans in cities where we have low visibility. Second: our humanitarian aid programs have reached real scale, but we are still running them as a series of campaigns rather than a consistent operation. That needs to change, and it requires building more stable funding. Third: our leadership is too concentrated. The organization’s sustainability depends on developing the next generation of KASA leadership now, not when the current generation is already burned out.

These priorities require resources and community support. They also require volunteers who want to do more than deliver food packages — who want to help teach, to help govern, to help fundraise and plan. If that describes you, please reach out.
